I don't recall

There it is. I was awestruck went after it chasing to catch atleast this time.
Like as everyday, I thought my day would go fine.But it didn't happen. The room was dark. The place where I'm living is unmanned,in pitchblack , utter silence, I felt like I'm lost in the echo. To make gutter out of this shrewness, I started moving in the room. The house I live in is made of wood. I felt my movement as disturbing the sleeping silence. While I was moving , I noticed the floor showing unlike sound from other parts of the room. I started checking around in the room if I can feel the same sound from any other part of the room. But I did not, I brought the lantern close to the floor. This part of floor is unusual in color. So rubbed off the color, found the margins of a square sized wooden piece on the floor. I felt it to a doorway beneath the house. I started thinking should I have to open this door, what if I find huge wealth or if I find any unusual thing inside it. I do not know what lies beneath it, but I decided to open it. It is tightly placed with the rest of the floor and locked from inside. I brought an axe and an hammer to cut open it. I started hitting the floor. The door to the bottom is tearing off. I Hit it. Hit it and hit heavy on it. The door is now separated from the floor.
Suddenly, from far I hear wolves crying.Now I see the doorway even pitchblack than the place im living in. It felt like I'm looking into the well of darkness. I do not see steps or any passage way to go inside it. I brought the lantern and held inside it, the light reached till I held.But I'm curious to know about this strange void, so I brought a rope and tied one end of the rope to the door knob, the other hanging inside it. I'm not sure about where did this edge of rope land in the doorway but I started to expedite it. I carried the lantern with me and started stepping into the hallow. There is darkness everywhere in the space except the place where I'm lowering the rope. I started to wonder why is the light not reaching the complete space. This part is now getting hotter, I started to sweat and I still see the dead silence . I do not know now exact depth from the top of room. The lantern is getting dimmer. Suddenly, I heard whispers coming from the bottom of the room. I yelled if there is anyone but I was welcomed with sssss words.It got more dark and my lantern went off completely, something's frightening me and I do not understand the reason. I started to think now, whether to face the bottom of the room or start climbing upwards. Immediately, my thread started to loose, I lost the grip and fell on the floor. There is lot of hissing around me, I light up the matches which I have brought them along.I'm frightened, there are snakes all around. I cannot stand a stance on the ground, they are waiting to attack their prey(me). I made a step forward, suddenly I felt tremors on the place I'm standing. The ground is lost and I fell into a deep trench. I'm hurt and I do not know how far is the top from this place. I lost the matches too. Too dark is this place, with utter silence all around.Without any forethought, I started making stance to get hold of a wall, in this moment, something struck my head.I'm able to catch it. It felt like thread of a light. So I pulled it down. A small light somewhere from the room started to be visible. So I went after it. Through the slit of light, I started sneaking but I see nothing except the light. I realized that there is no other way to make out of this room except this light. I do not have any tools to break the slit wide open.In the darkness, I kept searching and went after the thread hanging from the top. I got hold of it.It is a hard metal freely clinging. I cut the rope with my teet and brought it close to the slit. I started hitting the slit repeatedly and heavily, the walls are too thick to break open but I continued. Finally,  the pin slit is large enough now that I can crawl through it.I came outside and I see plenty of snow covered everywhere.The place is exuberanced in white light which appeared flashy for me in the dark room.Now looking at the snow all around tremors started in me, which
